We didn’t get as big of a harvest this year as we were hoping for because the marijuana farms that have come into the high desert have brought a new pest with them-the Grape Leaf Skeletonizer. It’s done some pretty gnarly damage to the vineyard and sadly they eat the grapes too. Our vineyard is organic and we’re hoping we can keep it that way as we fight these little guys off.

I hear so many people saying that law enforcement shouldn’t waste their time on illegal pot farms, but when things are done illegally this is the result. There’s rules and regulations that have to be followed in agriculture for a reason!
